Medicinal uses of cinnamon
Diabetes
Cinnamon intake controls diabetes. Especially in type-2 diabetes Researches have shown that the consumption of this spice reduces the level of glucose in the blood. Consumption of 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder in food reduces the level of sugar in the blood. Its intake can reduce glucose levels in type-2 diabetes by 18 to 24 percent.
Cholesterol
Cinnamon is also beneficial for heart health. The enzyme found in it reduces triglyceride and cholesterol. Its regular intake is less likely to cause heart attack.
Arthritis and joint pain
Cinnamon has a chemical compound known as Cinnamomum, which has anti-inflammatory properties. It is an effective home remedy for arthritis and joint pain. Grind cinnamon first and grind it well and dissolve it in water to make a paste. Apply it in a painful place, it will be quite a relief.
Digestion
Cinnamon contains significant amounts of magnesium, fiber, calcium and oil. Calcium and fiber combined with bile salt and oil along with digestive juices strengthen digestion.
Not only this, because of the anti-inflammatory properties of cinnamon, it also cures stomach ulcers.
Losing weight It has the properties to speed up digestion. It works to break down carbohydrates. Boil it in water and mix honey and drink it on an empty stomach in the morning to get rid of obesity.
Other Benefits of cinnamon
• Cinnamon is warm in nature, so its use provides relief in cold, cough and cold.
• It also removes constipation. Mix 1 gram cinnamon and 5 grams small myrabalan powder and eat at night, constipation will run away.
• If there is a worm in the teeth, applying wet cotton swabs in cinnamon oil provides relief.

Cinnamon is garam masala, so it should not be consumed in large quantities. Pregnant and lactating women should not consume cinnamon without medical advice.
