Aloe vera is a fast growing plant with uniaxial or very small stems which grows to 60 to 100 cm in length.  It is a 5000 year old medicine which has 250 sub-castes.  Some of them have medicinal properties, the most effective of which is Barbadensis Miller.

 Our body needs 21 amino acids, out of which 18 are found only in aloe vera.  The leaves of aloe vera are dense and shiny.  The extract of aloe vera is used to make cosmetic products and to make Ayurvedic medicines.


 Benefits of aloe vera :-


  Skin whitening: -

 Drinking a glass of aloe vera juice daily can give smooth, soft, smooth and healthy skin.  Aloe vera juice also reduces signs of aging and repairs skin cells.  Aloe vera gel is also beneficial in burns and cuts.


  Improves digestion: -

  One teaspoon of aloe vera relieves constipation.  Aloe vera introduces essential bacteria that strengthen your digestive system, which does not cause problems like constipation.


 In reducing weight: -

 Aloe vera takes time to digest.  Due to which the body gets energy and lose weight.  The immune system regulates and detoxification of toxins from the body as aloe vera also has anti-oxidant properties.


  Treatment of acne: -

Aloe vera

  The antiseptic properties of aloe vera help reduce acne.  It does not completely cure acne but reduces inflammation and redness of the skin to a great extent.  Its juice or gel can be applied directly on the skin to treat acne.


  Sunburn:-

  Aloe vera gel contains two hormones, Axim and Gibberellins, which protect the skin from sunburn.  These act as skin protection shields that heal the wounds of the skin quickly.

  Aloe vera acts as a natural moisturizer for dry skin.  Aloe vera gel is extremely beneficial for dry skin.  Moisture is naturally closed in aloe vera, this gel keeps the skin hydrated, making the skin flexible.

  Allergies:-

 If you are allergic to garlic, onion etc. then it is possible that Aloe Vera will not suit you.  Aloe vera also comes from the Liliaceae family, which also brings garlic, and onions.  Problems of urticaria, redness on the eyelids, and skin inflammation have been observed with prolonged use of Aloe vera gel.


 Blood related problems: -

 Aloe vera can lower blood sugar levels.  People suffering from diabetes or hypoglycemia are advised to use it precautionally or only after consultation with a physician.  Excessive use of aloe vera may also increase the risk of bleeding or blood disorders.


 Do not use in heart disease: -

 Patients with heart disease or electrolyte abnormalities are advised to use aloe vera carefully.


  Pregnancy and breastfeeding: -

 Aloe vera should be used sparingly even during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
