Headache is a common problem.  There can be pain in any part of the head and this pain is the only symptom that indicates any disease of the head.  Sometimes headaches can also occur due to excessive stress, tiredness, hunger, heat fast or any common physical problem such as fever or cold.

  Headache is caused by tension in the pen sensitive structure present in the brain.  There are nine places in the head and neck where there are pen sensitive structures, such as muscles, nerves, eyes, ears, nerves, arteries, subcutaneous tissue, sinus, cranium, and mucus membrane.  Most headaches are cured by eating a pen killer, while many times a headache can be relieved by just resting or even a mild massage.

Causes of Headache

 • When a person feels pressure on himself or is worried about a situation or situation.  In such a situation, his mind becomes restless and has a more profound effect on the brain, which causes tension and headaches.

  • Pain caused by changes in the blood vessels of the brain is called migraine pain.  This type of headache causes prickling pain in any one part of the head and pain, along with problems like nausea, gas and vomiting.  Not only this, the person also feels trouble with photophobia (trouble with light) and phonophobia (trouble with noise).  Not getting enough sleep, staying hungry or drinking less water can cause a migraine.

  • Some women feel severe headaches during hormone changes.  This condition can also occur during monopause, menstruation, ovulation, etc.  This type of headache can also remain due to fluctuations in menstrual flow.

  • Rebound headache may be the problem due to taking certain types of medicines for more days.  There are many diseases in which medicines last for a long time, in such cases it can affect the brain.  This type of headache stops on its own with discontinuation of medicines.

  • Head veins are also affected by toothache.  The teeth and the veins of the head meet at the jaw, whereby the teeth and head connect each other.  Due to which, any kind of discomfort in the teeth causes headaches.

  • If people do not get tea on time, they may complain of headache even if they do not get tea on time.

  • Some people complain of headache as soon as they wake up in the morning while after some time it gets cured on its own.  Many times headaches can occur in the morning due to not sleeping well at night or starving stomach.

  • Headache can occur due to any problem in the eyes, weakening of the eyes, not wearing glasses or disturbances in the contact lens.  Any such problem which causes strain on the eyes can be the cause of headaches.  In such a situation, if a person is troubled by a headache, then he must also check his eyes.

  • Some people may also complain of headache from eating ice cream or very cold things.  After eating ice cream or very cold things, there is a feeling of heaviness in the middle of the head which causes headaches.  This type of pain starts immediately after eating ice cream.

Home remedies for headache:-


Mustard oil

 Mustard oil is very effective in headache.  Put a few drops of mustard oil in the nose on the side of the head, which is causing pain, This will provide great relief from headache.  

Cinnamon
Cinnamon

  Grind cinnamon with water and apply a thin paste on the forehead to relieve headache.  Remove the paste when it is dry.  Headache stops by applying the paste three or four times.

Fennel

  Make a powder by grinding aniseed.  After that make a thick paste by adding a little water to this powder.  Apply this paste on the forehead.  The headache will be over.

Spicy tea

  Spicy tea is a very good home remedy for headache.  It can also be made easily at home.  It is a stimulating beverage that alerts the mind.  Boil some ginger, cloves and cardamom in the tea.  Done with spicy tea ready.  Spicy tea should be drunk hot.  With this, your headache will disappear as well as you will feel refreshed.

Oil massage

  Massage of oil is very effective in headache.  Massage starts the blood flow properly in the blood arteries of the head and the headache is immediately corrected.  Keep in mind that head massage should be done with herbal oil only and in case of headache, the oil should be heated slightly so that it can effect quickly.

Lemonade

  Drinking plenty of alcohol often leads to hangovers.  There is a severe headache in a hangover.  Lemonade works in such a situation.  Drinking too much of alcohol causes shortage of water in the body and drinking lemon water also removes water deficiency in the body and also cures headache.


Other tips

   • If you have a headache, first try to find out the reason, find a solution accordingly.

  • Summer cold oil massage can also relieve headaches

  • Headache can also be relieved by pressing the head lightly

  • Try to divert your attention from the pain elsewhere, such as listening to light music.

  • Deep breathing also relieves headaches

  • Eat dry fruits like almonds and walnuts daily, this reduces stress and strengthens the mind.

  • If it is summer, drink cold water and if it is winter then keep the head from hot.

  • Try drinking tea or coffee, the caffeine in them also helps in relieving headaches.
